Happy Friday!!
Today was a great Friday! To end our service/spirit week our campers made cookies for the homeless during culinary arts! Our camper groups each had a turn to go out and hold signs for our lemonade sale! The camp raised a total of $209!! This goes to Alex's Lemonade Stand. We want to thank everyone that came out and supported us! Next week our theme will be Hero's Journey!! Make sure you turn in your permission form for Seussical Jr. at Upper Darby Summer Stage!! Our campers had a great day today at camp! During sports, our campers Happy Wacky Wednesday!!
Today our campers got to come in dressed like their favorite character!! In gym, our campers played can jam and clean the backyard! They had so much fun! In mosaics, they showed their teamwork and created a mural together! For culinary arts, our campers made delicious broccoli salad! Tomorrow is Tie Dye Thursday!!! Happy Monday! This week our theme is Spirit Week/ Service Week!
Even though it was raining outside, our campers had a blast inside! Our campers started the week off making mac and cheese for AIDS For Friends, in culinary arts. They had so much fun making this dish together. Team work at it's best for a great cause! They practiced their martial arts skills with Cheng's Martial Arts! Our very own counselor Grace, assisted our campers in the STEAM Lab creating their own Lego master pieces! PARENTS! For our campers going to OASIS- if you have not signed your permission form for OASIS yet please do either online or when you drop off your camper! Happy Tuesday!
Today our campers had a blast! Our group 2 campers kicked off Fourth of July with a kick line during dance class!! In art class, our campers made mini flags. During STEAM, our campers created fireworks with Zome tools! To cool off from the heat in the afternoon our campers played MPR games and enjoyed the air condition! For afternoon snack, our campers enjoyed a nice treat of water ice! Remember campers!! Tomorrow dress in your red, white and blue!!! Happy Monday and a great kick off to Fourth of July!
Our campers started off the week by making a fourth of July treat in culinary arts, practiced their martial arts skilled in Cheng's Martial Arts and made stars out of clay using a red, white and blue stencil! Please remember.. camp will be closed July 4th and July 5th!! |
